Nokia Responds Ovi Share Rumors
On the previous post, Reuters reports that Nokia has halted its funding on Nokia’s Ovi Share. Then some rumors out there saying that the rumors are fake. But it seems that the rumors are true after an official confirmation. There is no further plan for this media sharing. An office located in Washington that works for Ovi Share also has been shuttered. The further info says that Nokia prefers to allocate its cash, time and energy to build the third party APIs to be plugged into Ovi. It is better than building the own service considering the many similar services out there.
Nokia to Stop its Funding to Share on Ovi
Have you heard this? The Share on Ovi service is now not supported financially by Nokia. As the popular services like Twitter and Facebook now support for photo sharing, so there is no need for such a service. The news can be seen on ZOMG in Cj. So the recently economic changes may also influence this decision. In this condition, Nokia has looked deeply which service people actually need to use. Of course, not much people will put their photos on no longer supported service.
