Mac iSync Plug-In for X6 and N97 Mini
Finally Nokia users, especially N97 Mini and X6 can use this iSync app for their mobile phone. iSync is ActiveSync like app found on Mac. ActiveSync is published by Apple. The app is used to synchronize data in Address Book and iCal with Mac and various devices.
Unfortunately iSync can not be used on Symbian phone as it isn’t compatible yet with it. But nowadays you don’t have to worry anymore as Nokia has just released the compatible one, iSync plugin for Symbian smartphone. This app has been tested in Nokia X6 and N97 Mini. Now the users can share and synchronize data within Mac and Symbian smartphone, managing contact and synchronizing diary entry in iCal.

Nokia S60v5 Gets Evernote App
Evernote app finally comes to Nokia S60v5. This app is previously cant work well on Nokia, so the users put it on iPhone and WinMo device. A Twitter post has gave this forum’s link where you can find the download for this app (beta). The app has been tested in N97 and N97 Mini.
You may question what it is about Evernote. This app is used when you want to capture tasks, business cards, plane tickets, thoughts, ideas and more. You can capture them then store to the phone. Naypalm N97 Mini Review
Nokia N97 Mini is the improved version of N97 from many aspects like battery, camera and others. The improved processor now comes to the speedy 434Mhz processor. So N97 Mini can run any program easily. The display is large enough to be used to watch movie or surfing.
One thing Nokia may need to add is its RAM. The common Nokia smartphone is less in RAM, so their multi-task phone can only do some apps at a time. Fortunately the company has started to improve their RAM in their latest phones.
Memory
Comparing with N97, this Mini version has the decreased mass memory, only 8GB less than that of N97 with its 32GB. However the phone memory is better, N97 Mini has 256mb while N97 just 128Mb. The RAM is similar they have 128Mb.

The camera comes with auto focus lets you take the close-up shot of small objects. It has same quality image with N97 but N97 Mini has faster process.
Front Camera
The front camera supports you for video call. Our friend has tried to utilize it using Fring’s Skype Videocall and the result is cool without much lag.

The earbuds quality are good and feel comfort in ears.

The supplied USB cable works fast to download images and so on. N97 Mini has the USB charging that maybe useful.

Unfortunately when one puts N97 Mini on the flat dashboard, he cant see the map clearly because of the light reflection. One will need the suction-cup phone holder here.
Software
The kinetic scrolling and UI are interesting. The photo browser looks good enough but it will be better if N97 Mini users get the Nokia Beta Labs Photo Browser. The installed apps are MySpace, Facebook, Qik and Ovi Store. Via Ovi Store the users can download many apps like Strobe, Level and so on. Then finally the Bluetooth blocking on N97 Mini lets you block a bluetooth device to send you message and file.

More Review of Nokia N97 Mini
We will make comparison within N97 and N97 Mini in this review. The N97 Mini is better than N97 in system ability and operational speed. There is no freeze or restart with no reason. However the phone has lags and not too good responds to command.
N97 Mini also has better call and it has better in-call quality like N97. The sound looks clear and loud. Compared with its bigger brother, N97 Mini is more attractive in design made from better material besides brings the enhanced in-call quality as well as more stable OS.
In other side, N97 Mini still contains some N97 shortcomings such as limited video codec support and sluggish operational speed.
If we look at the market, there are some other devices cheaper than N97 Mini like Samsung OMNIA HD i8910. This phone comes without qwerty keyboard but brings the larger display, the decent video capabilities as well as similar functionality.

Nokia N97 Mini, More About It
The versatile handset with some holes in specs, N97 is in 5800 size range but thinner despite its slide out keyboard.
N97 comes with good material and the improved S60 touch interface. However there are some oddities here like home screen widgets and flick scrolling. If we look at the nice thing in this new OS, it is the better speed Ovi Store.
Now we talk about its rivals. They are Motorola MILESTONE or DROID, the Android 2.0 handset. This device doesn’t offer the free Google Maps Navigation outside USA. The specs are good enough.

According to the latest news, Nokia N97 Mini will be available for UK customer starting at October 23. This redesigned and resized edition of the Nokia N97 will be priced at EUR 450 without contract and subsidies. The customer with contract will get it cheaper. Nokia N97 Mini for €450 in October
Nokia World 2009 has been held in Stuttgart. Mr. Anssi Vanjok gave us the news of the Nokia N97 Mini official leaking. Although previously we had readed much information regarding this device, the news was still a nice thing as Nokia itself had formally approved the Nokia N97 Mini.
This device is the lower edition of the flagship device Nokia N97 with the lower price but still great features and capability. It is called as the slimmest travel companion with its built-in Lonely Planet guidebook. Here the company offers the device with social networking capabilities.
