Finally the 2 well known smartphones from Nokia, X6 and 5230 get their software update. This update contains the bug fixes and several new features like kinetic scrolling and also improved speed.

The important part, kinetic scrolling in this serious software update has gone deeper which now you can enjoy the grid menus in interface. This new features is similar to that of Nokia 5800 XM after the last update.

What’s more, both Nokia 5230 and X6 will get touch web browser v7.2 (the latest vers). As for the Ovi Maps on both devices will be integrated with Lifecasting so that the handset’s owner can tell his location via Facebook, share it with his friends.

Nokia X6 is the first device with capacitive screen of Nokia and it represents the truly high end in XM line. In this X6 we can see Nokia tries to make better their touchscreen and gives respond to user demands as well.

According to gsmarena.com screen sensitivity isnt the principal problem in touch screen device. Yes we know the resistive is better but its more about priority. However there is other issue needs to be solved by Nokia.

The problem seems to be in software. Competing in its class, Symbian S60 can not be said as theuser friendly and attractive OS.? Yes it has core functionality but for the budget, it is not the best choice. we know X6 is an expensive handset about 500 Euro, and for this price it is said that the flaw isnt forgiven.

This time it looks like Nokia wants to offer a gift free of competition. This gift is called Nokia 5230. The competitive price tag is the result of minimal R&D costs. This one is the cheapest S60 touchscreen device. Yes, it cant be compared to 5530 but HSDPA and GPS are nice offer especially for them with good data plan.

You can choose 5230 or 5530 XM according to your requirements, whether you like GPS with fast HSDPA data transfer or WiFi. I think the downgraded snapper is not a matter considering it may not become the great asset in 5530 or 5800.
