Nokia Wireless Loopset: Designed for People with Hearing Aid
Nokia Wireless Loopset is an accessory that was designed distinctively for people with hearing aids to improve their mobile communication. With the presence of this device, people who have T-coil equipped hearing aid or cochlear implant can be relief now. They will be provided with premium audio quality and handsfree operation of their mobile devices and other compatible audio devices. The Loopset is expected to start shipping worldwide in the first quarter 2009, with an estimated price of less than 200 Euros, before applicable taxes or subsidies.
“The Nokia Wireless Loopset provides hearing aid users with a hassle-free and handsfree connection to their mobile phones,” said Peeta Piiparinen, R&D Specialist, Nokia. “Sound is amplified more efficiently, while the distance between the phone and hearing aid means that the possibility of interference is greatly reduced. The loopset filters out background noise, which increases speech discrimination, and offers excellent audio quality in a range of environments such as the car, office, or even in windy conditions outdoors.”
Retro-Look Hands Free
Take a look on this baby…I’m sure it looks great for people who like traditional style and always go against the current style. Unlike almost all hands free devices that look slim and professional, The Classical Hands Free look more like a regular home phone receiver. However, with such size I guess the term ‘hands free’ is not suitable. And it would be pretty awkward to see this lying on the table just like that. Supported cell phone models include Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung, Nokia and Panasonic.

Nokia’s DC-8 Traveler Charger
From the previous product, DC-1 Power Pack, this Nokia’s new product use aAA-size battery as main power, not internal battery like DC-1. This product was named as DC-8. And it can be used for
The form of the DC-8 is tube-like form similar to those Nokia’s MD-6 speakers). The different between the DC-1 and the DC-8 is that there’s no internal battery in DC-8. It takes one AA-sized battery which is alkaline or NiMH, and has the ability to charge rechargable NiMH batteries.
Best of all, it’s compatible with any 2mm power plug phone which includes most Nseries phones (or it might be all - not sure about the N71 for example) and pretty much every decent, fairly new phone released by Nokia in the past year or two.
