Some days ago Nokia had announced that they will stop the update on the N-Gage gaming platform. Instead they will focus on Ovi Store as the N-Gage gaming platform, where the users can find many games and apps like Pac-Man, The Sims 3 and other hundreds new games. There are thousand of games available in Ovi that supported by 100 models of Nokia device.

So starting now, you can check the latest games on store.ovi.com/games. The latest games like EA SPORTS FIFA 10 and like Sky Force Reload are also available. Ovi is available in 180 countries or more.

The previous promise of Nokia to bring the gaming service for the hottest N73 seems canceled. Regarding the N73, it is the hottest smartphone of Nokia, the phone has become the most sold smartphone in the world. Like mentioned before, last year Nokia had given its promise to add the gaming service to the most sold smarthphone but now, due to the limited computing power, the promise can not be realized. Nokia 5630 XpressMusic hits the FCC

Nokia 5630 XpressMusic , the low end music phone with candybar design just shuttled off to the FCC for review (and dissection, if these pictures are any indication) and shoul be approved soon. Nokia 5630 XpressMusic will sport a 3.2 megapixel camera with built-in flash, GPS, and Symbian S60 3rd edition. The Active Toolbar which we’ve seen more recently on the 5800 XpressMusic is also available. You can expect GPRS and EDGE connectivity and the jury is still out on that 3G support you’d like. Nokia Looking To Port Ngage Games to Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network?

Nokia seems looking to expand their N-Gage games into other platforms. Aki Jarvilehto from Nokia said a panel at Develop Mobile 2008 conference that they are looking into “concepts where we use the same assets for Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Online.” Interesting! It is possibly that you can play a game on your phones, save your stats, and then continue laying on the Xbox at your home.

This is cool because it could mean that you can play a game on your phone, save your stats, then continue playing on the Xbox when you get home.

Additional Devices are added by N-Gage

For the first time since the official re-launch of the N-Gage gaming platform, Nokia decided to add  pending support for additional devices.  The N78, 5320, and N96 from Nokia is added pending support for additional devices by the N-Gage team (in the official re-launch of the N-gage gaming platform) though the last two are not being on sale yet formally. Sadly, the “old” N Series like  N73, N93 and N93i are not supported yet. However, a number of attractive games are installed on your old device and available from the Download! client by the same developers like Vivendi Games, Glu Mobile and Gameloft.

It seems. Nokia launch The widsets pet game for fulfill Nokia’s ambitions in mobile gaming go beyond N-Gage.

As the Symbian Guru blog explains, the innovative thing is it lets you use your photo to turn yourself into a virtual pet, which you can then look after, but can also be shared with your friends (if that’s not a disturbing thought).
