V2 Firmware Update for Nokia 5530
Previous post is about firmware update for N85. It turns out that Nokia 5530 XM owners have got their present, the newest firmware update that now comes to v20.0.080 from the older, v11.0.054. This smallest S60v5 device has got its firmware update in 140MB of file size.
As usual the firmware can be got via Nokia Software Updater (NSU) or Over the Air (OTA) which one you like. Yes, we know that your device will provide data, apps and settings preservation but still it is a good idea to back up your data.
This v20 contains speed improvements and minor bug fixes. In other side, it brings the updated Ovi Maps and Ovi Store and of course some other else. Unfortunately there is no kinetic scrolling here as we see in N97 and N97 Mini.
If you have not yet found the firmware on your 5530 so probably it hasn’t yet reached your product code or you have carrier branded device. Just keep a wait in this case.
