Firmware Update v400 for Nokia E71

While previously we had the v300 firmware update for Nokia E71, now the latest version comes to v400.21.013. It contains preinstalled Ovi Contacts, the enhanced support Nokia Email/Messaging, bug fixes and stability. There is update for Internet Radio too, Ovi Store, Email Setup Wizard, Mail for Exchange and Quickoffice. Like usual, the user can get update through NSU (Nokia Software Update) on PC Suite. Don’t forget to back up your app and data as E71 doesn’t have UDP (User Data Preservation).

The preinstalled Ovi Contacts is the basic version without Yahoo and Google Talk support. As for the Ovi Store client, it is faster for browsing the store. The more stable Nokia Messaging comes with its custom email client and improved email setup.

There is Quickoffice v5.3 is included. However the latest version has been available in Quickoffice app, v6.0. If you want to see the full change log just go here. There are some other notable updates included.
