Getting Podcast and Internet Radio on E52, E55, E72

One of the missing features in E52, E55 and E72 seems to be Internet Radio and Podcast. But now you can get the solution. Dotsisx over at symbian-guru.com has written this so you can get back the Internet Radio and Podcast-like function on you E52, E55 and E72.

Internet Radio

It is simple, you have to go to Nokia Internet Radio download page then choose the version for Nokia 6120 Classic. Alternatively here is the download link. Then you have to install it then open your Radio app. You can choose within FM Radio or Internet Radio.

Podcasts

There is a podcatcher ported to S60 comes from Symbian UIQ namely Escarpod by Bergamot. The alpha version is available here. This podcatcher is great. It comes without excellent options, no actual titles of its 5 different panes. But the nice thing is it works. Those different views of Escarpod are: Now Playing, Podcasts on the phone, Downloader, Podcast feeds and AudioBooks.

    Hi,

    I installed Nokia Internet Radio for 6120 twice on my Nokia E72 but after the installation the application is nowhere to be seen or found in the menu. Should it really be working?

    Hi, I found the app.. It was under Media -> Radio. But than I noticed that the left shoft-key has the battery meter above it (while it does “select”) and the right soft-key has select (but does “exit”). The word “exit” is seen on the upper-right corner of the screen. Not really compatible?

    it seems that the certificate of the application of podcsting Bergamot is expired… :-(
    Do you have another idea to podcast on E52 ?

    Certificate expired?
    Try changing your mobile device’s clock backup 6 months or so. Workes for me on E72.

    Hi,
    I was as dissapointed as Pierre when I tried to install the app and was told the certificate has expired. Anyone has another solution for podcast download/playing for nokia e72? As of now my nokia e72 lacks a very important function for me.
