Nokia will follow its competitor like Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG to launch the phone with 12 Mpx camera. It seems that this plan will be realized either at the end of 2009 or the beginning 2010. Although the official announcement has not yet launched by Nokia but at least rumors out there saying that the phone will be featured with Carl Zeiss lens with optical zoom capability.
Considering the above information, it is said that the Nokia N98 (the next Nokia flagship) seems to be announced at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Februari 2010 instead of Nokia World in 2 – 3 September 2009. Further more, it is said that according to the source, the Finnish manufacture seems not to launch the phone like N93 but dedicated to smartphone fans.
In other side about the delaying for N86 8MP launching, a representative of Carl Zeiss told that not like the Nokia N86 8MP competitors that reduced sensor pixel size to get the increased megapixel in the phone, Nokia didn’t reduce that pixel size. That was because the new technology of Carl Zeiss ensured the optimal image quality in N86 without reducing the pixel size.
