There is a nice article about Nokia N97 review. This short post covers some parts of it. At the conclusion, the author says that Nokia N97 is a choice for you who want the convergence. It combines all many things in a single device such as camera, mp3 player, internet tablet as well as social media tool. However, according to the author the phone can’t do perfectly almost all those things. The better camera phone can be found out there and if you look at the better browser just take iPhone. The competitors for Nokia N97 that also worth taking a look are Sony Ericsson Satio and I8910. But with price tag of $600, N97 seems to be a nice alternative. So among the details we can write here are listed below.

Software, app, game

It comes with some integration apps like Facebook, AccuWeather, Traveler and so. For gamers, this device seems not suitable for you, it only has 2 games pre installed and this phone is not yet supported by N-gage. The Ovi Store content does not have much enough content this time.

Bugs

There are several software glitches here. Your contacts will list the last name in the beginning. The device seems a little bit slow sometimes. It can crash and close some apps and after boot up it needs quite long time to find signal.

Battery

The battery quality is good, it is BP-4L battery with its 1500mAh, it can endure quite long time.

Business

It comes without special business app, but provides the basic functions with a converter, calendar, a dictionary, a file manager, a calculator, Adobe PDF, a Zip application and Quickoffice. The later is in the read only version.

Internet

It offers good internet experience with its QWERTY keyboard and wide screen (3.5″). Just use 3G or W-Lan to use this facility. Its browser works with WEB, WAP, HTML, Flash Lite and XHTML. Navigating can be done with finger or D-pad easily. You can enjoy YouTube video here with no problem. The problem here is its little RAM causes the browser crashes.

Connectivity

There is no problem with connectivity test. It offers 3G,GSM, WCDMA, HSDPA, GPRS, WCDMA as well as HSCSD. For connect to other PC it offers microUSB, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support and W-Lan.
