It looks like Nokia will take part in netbook market. Partnering with Foxconn, the Taiwan super manufacture, Nokia has planned to produce their branded netbooks. Some considerations of choosing Foxconn as partner are: the effective time needed for production and to reduce the production cost than took on netbook production alone.
The rumor comes from unnamed source of TheStreet. Foxconn has manufactured various electronic goodies such as PS2, PS3, 360, Wii, Mini, Mac, Kindle, iPhone and so on. According to Grek Kumparak in mobilecrunch.com, it really makes sense if such Nokia’s product is the netbook indeed. That is because of the slim profit margin for netbook production. So taking Foxconn for mass production is a good idea.
