The Next Touchscreen Phone Concept, Nokia 5900 Monoir

Andr?s Nemes has designed this prototype of next Nokia touchscreen phone, Nokia 5900 Monoir. The phone will come with features like 3.5 inch touchscreen TFT LCD (16:9; 260 x 640 pixels) as well as a GPS receiver, an ARM 11 369 MHz CPU and 1GB of SDRAM memory. The phone runs on Symbian S60 5th Edition.

The other highlighted features are a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and VGA video recording (30 fps). For connectivity support, it offers WiFi, dual band 3G with HSDPA and quad band GSM support. The phone has FM radio with RDS, a microSD slot, TV out, Bluetooth and USB 2.0. 5900 Monoir.

Other addition feature is a 3.5mm audio jack, that delivers special audio quality thru Dolby Mobile. The phone uses proximity sensor for automatically turning the screen on and off. Its QWERTY keyboard is on-screen landscape virtual. The phone also equipped with an accelerometer sensor for automatic motion based games and automatic UI rotation.

Lastly, the phone offers the OVI, MySpace integration and also has Office document viewer.

    when do you guys think this 5900 will be available?i mean should i buy 5800 or wait a little and buy 5900, cause when i buy 5800 then hell im not goin to buy 5900 when it comes out(cause im no that rich).but 5900 looks that much better.i wonder is the battery also better than in 5800.it better be cause the bigger screen eats lot more battery.peace

    I have read on some sites that it is planned for q4 this year, so that’s seems reasonable time to wait and get this one instead of the 5800. Better camera an bigger screen and hopefully… thinner, even though nokia doesn’t really care bout being thin i really do hope they’l care this time lol xD
